How I overcome my 'braindead-ness'...

It's been a while since I have this total braindead , i.e. blank-out state of mind that when boss asked me something, I can't recall at all how and where to find the information. This is so unlike me as I always know my stuff well and take pride in my work :) Anyway, thank God that boss is quite understanding this time round, all he said was 'errr.... you ok? braindead ar? Didn't you rest on Sunday?' Errrmmm....I did but not enough....plus I seriously dread working anymore for this peak period...becoz of the crazy hours and becoz of the 'environment/ people'....

Anyway, I've decided to give Mr. S.A.Tan a big kick and punch and initiated 'a prayer a day' with my sisters in Christ at work (my workplace sharing group).... we will take turn to do it everyday from now on...

The prayer for Day 1 (which I just sent out in the mail a while ago) look like this:
"Dear Lord, we thank You Lord for this brand new day and the beginning of yet another exciting and challenging week to live for You. Lord we come to You in humble adoration knowing that You love us dearly and that Your presence surround us everyday, as we’re working, resting, driving, interacting with others. We ask that You will reside in our hearts, our mind, so that our actions, our words, our thoughts will be noble and acceptable to You. We ask for Your forgiveness in times where we are quick to judge and comment or angry about others. We ask that Lord You will help us to love others more, to be quick to forgive, slow to anger and to exemplify Christ in how we respond to situations around us. May You remove all filthy thoughts or words from us, and make us lovely people in this dept who will make an impact for You. Purify our hearts, our minds and lift us up as we brace through another week meeting deadlines and doing our best in our work. Protect and watch over our family and love ones we pray. Thank You Lord, in Jesus name. AMEN!"

I feel much better now :) Thank you Lord!
