It's been commonly said that from mid 20s to mid 30s is the PRIME of one's age where
you take off in your career.........
you are at your most beautiful and attractive stage of your life............
you're most comfortable with yourself - who you are, who you wanna become, how you wanna live your life....
you're enjoying your youth and all the energy you are capable of giving and offering...
and......you try everything that you dare to....
Well, i'm one of those who's living in this bracket of age right now...
Career wise? yes, there's progression and advancement and am quite happy with where i'm heading right now...
Beauty? hmmm.....maybe more of having discovered myself better, know better how to present myself in front of others...more confident and secure in who I am...
Enjoying my youth? Definitely......working superly hard and playing superly crazy over the weekends... occasionally hang out and do crazy stuff with my favourite gals....
Daring to try? If I compare myself with the old-me, I think i'm much better now, willing to take challenges, dare to dream and go the extra miles to do the 'seemingly-impossible'.... and I kinda enjoy this the most of my life right now...
A lot of people see me burying myself into work and working crazy hours lately.....but the knowledge that i'm building now is so valuable and I am really enjoying it, regardless of what others say or think about me... even though the question of 'is it worth it?' keep visiting me, but I felt that God had been giving me extraordinary strength and wisdom each time I needed it desperately from Him.......
Ministry wise, there's also breakthrough.... I'm really enjoying the quality friendships with my cg gals... and fellow colleagues too....I find joy in encouraging and speaking into their lives and I treasure deeply the testimonies and laughter that we shared.... God opened up lots of opportunities for me to provide TLC, mentoring and guidance to them... I find myself telling Jesus 'One more Jesus, I can do one more! Just enable me, to touch yet another life...' And He never fail me.....
I dunno why i'm writing all this at this wee hour of the day.....in fact, I just got back at midnight (2 nights in a row) from work.... I guess it's a quiet reflection of His faithfulness and goodness in my life.....my heart is filled with so much joy and excitement of His blessings to me, that He gave me the best opportunity to learn and grow and the best privilege to love and mentor others... God willing, I will keep going ....
Time to doze off..... can't wait to open my eyes tomorrow and welcome another challenging and blessed day to do & give my best.........
