Finally i'm off for my long awaited and well deserved break! Yes, it's my block leave this week. Sad to say, i've no where to go!!! Didn't plan for any trips. All I planned on my schedule is to read on some materials for my upcoming project and to rest...
You guess it... many of my good friends or ex-colleagues know that whenever I am on leave or break, I get sick! I did! I was hit by severe flu and headache over the weekend.... only recover on Monday.... Yes, you're laughing at me for not knowing how to appreciate life and holiday! I know.... can't help it! Anyway, I have another 5 days....I hope I can make full use of it...
During the past few days, I had a chance to talk to some old friends online.... makes me reflect about life a bit more. Some of my friends are doing really well....making it big in the world.... good life....good family.... some of my friends got burnt by share market or business..... debts piling up.....struggling and going through life n living by the day.... some lost, dunno what they want in life, and still trying to make sense of life... all of us came out from school or university, parted our ways....went to different university, lived in different countries and went through different life experiences and all ended up in different path today....very natural progression in life, or maybe some called it 'fact of life'..... and even when we talked, you could sense that people do change over time... either for better or for worse...including myself...
I begin to ask myself.... am I a better person today, compared to say 10 years ago.... how am I different today compared to 'yester-days or yester-years'.... I wonder what will my friends, my ex-schoolmates, or even my ex-bfs think or say of me now..... maybe it's high time that I take stock of my journey of life thus far...... some of you know that I signed off my gmail account with this:
Regards, aMy
By the grace of God, I am who I am...(1 Cor 15:10)
I shall let the grace of God help me look into my heart and my life with total honesty and authenticity today...
